With 22 years of human resources and talent acquisition leadership experience, Jason Buss is a recognized expert with deep experience in identifying, recruiting and hiring high-performing teams. He is currently the Vice President of Talent Acquisition for MongoDB.
Jason has authored and published content in, and has been quoted by The Huffington Post, Fast Company, Bloomberg, MarketWatch, Society for Human Resource Management, Corporate Executive Board and more.
He is the founder of the Recruiters Network, and serves as the president and community leader for several of the nation’s largest and most active regional recruiting communities including Minnesota Recruiters, California Recruiters, Denver Recruiters, Florida Recruiters, Wisconsin Recruiters, Michigan Recruiters and Oregon Recruiters.

Ryan Stene, a proven recruitment strategist, is the Talent Acquisition Capability Manager with Best Buy. With more than 12 years of recruitment marketing, strategy and technology experience, he has worked with some of the largest brands in the US. Ryan and his team are responsible for the recruiting operations at Best Buy, which include all processes (corporate, retail, university and executive recruiting), vendor management, employment branding, recruiting technology and attraction strategy for both Corporate and Retail groups.
Ryan is in the area he feels most passionate about, consulting and helping Best Buy recruit better, smarter and more effectively. Ryan brings a consultative approach and understanding what makes them unique and drives to enhance and evolve their recruitment strategy. Ryan develops recruitment media solutions that are both strategically focused and tactically driven. He has been a part of MN Recruiters since our inception and loves being a part of such an amazing community of talented professionals.

Kunal Laroia serves as the inaugural Executive Director of The Recruiters Network. In his role, Kunal oversees the development and implementation of the strategic objectives for the organization and its regional communities. Passionate about harnessing and leveraging the collective wisdom of Human Resource & Recruitment professionals, Kunal is the connector and convener of The Recruiter's Network nationwide communities.
Prior to The Recruiter's Network, Kunal consulted with talent acquisition teams to support their overall technical hiring needs, most recently at Hired. With deep and diverse experience in engaging startups, Kunal has also served as a lead community organizer for TechStars Startup Week, Membership & Community Manager at Galvanize, and is the Founder of Arizona-based Telescope Ventures which helps seed-stage companies connect with and hire local engineering and design graduates.
From time-to-time you can find Kunal on the golf course, experiencing new wines, exploring new destinations, and taking flying lessons as a pilot-in-training.
Taylor Martinez is the Marketing & Events Specialist for the Recruiters Network. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of St.Thomas in 2018. While studying at the University of St. Thomas she had the opportunity to study abroad in Ireland, Argentina, and Brazil. Also, during the completion of her degree, she underwent many different work experiences such as being a Marketing Research Intern for Sidewalk Dog, Social Media Intern for Hy-Vee, and Talent Acquisition & Social Media Intern for Spok. Throughout her experiences, she has become increasingly interested in social media and how its use can shape and grow an organization.
Taylor has proudly lived in Minnesota her whole life. She is passionate about volunteering and has spent numerous hours volunteering with the Jeremiah Program. In her free time, she enjoys partaking in outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming, as well as going for walks with her adorable English Mastiff named Mabel.
